Biography

Clinical Trials Background:

Registered nurse for over 32 years, 15 years in clinical trials, 4 years as Non-Affiliated Member IRB and over 100 clinical trial background, working in a variety of roles including infusion nurse, certified clinical research coordinator, clinical director, and sub-investigator. Bench research in the area of dry eye and rheumatoid arthritis in the academic setting and clinical practice collaboration with associated publication(s). Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Director; Inland Rheumatology and Osteoporosis Medical Group & Inland Rheumatology Clinical Trials Upland, CA. 

Current & Previous Professional Experience

Currently I am the Intensive Coordinator for the Doctoral Programs at Azusa Pacific University School of Nursing as well as a practicing nurse practitioner in the emergency services area. Previous experience includes Assistant Chair, Doctoral Program, Azusa Pacific University; Director of MEPN Program and Clinical Education Coordinator, University of California, Irvine; Assistant Director of both the Master’s of Science/Family Nurse Practitioner Program as well as the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Clinical Work: Family Nurse Practitioner-Family Practice, Hematology/Oncology, Rheumatology and Emergency Services.
